A plate left without a ticket

GetRecue compares what left the kitchen with what was rung up on your POS. The plate for table 6 had no ticket, so your manager gets a heads-up to fix the check.

FAQ

Questions owners ask us

Is this legal?

Rules for: US ·

Cameras in kitchens and other work areas are common practice, and we help you notify your team properly. Audio runs only as a pilot, with written consent from each team member. Some states require everyone in a conversation to agree to a recording, so we review the setup with you before audio is turned on. Guests are never recorded.

You can start with the kitchen or the floor. On the floor, we start with video from your cameras. Audio pilots begin only after a legal review and written consent from each team member. We set things up in line with Israel's Privacy Protection Law, including Amendment 13.

Data is processed in the EU under GDPR. We never use emotion recognition, which the EU AI Act bans in the workplace.

Will my staff quit?

GetRecue is set up to reward good work. Your team sees their own progress, gets tips instead of reprimands, earns bonuses for great shifts, and can dispute any event.

Do I need new cameras?

Usually not. We connect the cameras you already have and add one only where a spot isn't covered.

Does it work with my POS?

Yes. We work with Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed and Tabit. Using a different system? Tell us, and we'll find a way.

Can I use just one module?

Yes. Kitchen and Floor work on their own or together. You can add the second one later.

Where is my data stored, and for how long?

In our cloud, on servers in your country, or on a closed server at your venue that we connect to only when you ask. We keep data as long as you need it, up to a year or longer.

How long does setup take?

Installation and setup take about a week. The walkthrough and briefing come first, and their timing depends on you.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your venue: how many cameras and badges you need and how long you want to keep data. We're running a pilot program now. Tell us about your venue and we'll prepare an offer.

What does the badge look like?

Like a regular name tag. You can rent our standard badge or order badges in your own brand.
